We love animals, Please let us know when booking that you're bringing your furry friend / friends. A small cleaning surcharge applies.
β’ Pet Blankets and Pet Bedding is provided under the TV.
β’ Please make sure there is a throw or blanket on the main sofa's and chairs for your furry friends
Quiet hours from 23:00 to 07:00. Dullstroom is peaceful β let's keep it that way.
Strictly no smoking indoors. Outside is fine β please use the ashtray provided.

β’ Check that the Geyser is off at the main DB board, the green switch and not at the Geyser Timer (that is for the outside lights)

Mrs. Simpsons - A relaxing evening and delicious food at Mrs. Simpson's is always the highlight of any Dullstroom weekends. There is always a great atmosphere when the establishment is full. However that does not retract from the excellent service, which is professional and always quick.
Fly-fishing β Dullstroom is widely celebrated as the fly fishing capital of South Africa. Nestled high in the Mpumalanga Highlands at 2,100 metres above sea level, its cool, crisp climate and oxygen-rich waters provide the perfect, pristine habitat for Rainbow and Brown Trout.

The Dullstroom Village β Art galleries, pottery, leatherwork, and the famous Dullstroom Bergen cheese.
Dullstroom Heritage Museum β "A small museum with a big heart." Step inside a carefully curated collection of artefacts, photographs, and stories that bring early Dullstroom to life. The museum is curated by the Dullstroom Heritage Society β and best experienced in person.
Dullstroom Railway Station - is the highest train station in South Africa, sitting at an altitude of 2,077 metres (6,814 feet) above sea level. It also serves as a nostalgic landmark stop on select luxury Rovos Rail journeys through Mpumalanga
Famous Panorama Route -The Panorama Route is one of South Africaβs most iconic drives and a must-see for anyone visiting Mpumalanga. From Dullstroom, itβs about a two-hour drive to the start of the route, making it ideal for a full-day excursion.
Adventure in the Highlands Meander β If youβre more of a thrill-seeker, the Highlands Meander region offers a host of adventure activities, many of which can be arranged as day trips from Dullstroom. Popular options include: Zip-lining and abseiling over gorges and rivers. Quad biking through rugged mountain trails. Hot air ballooning for a birdβs-eye view of the rolling hills. Hiking along marked trails with waterfalls and picnic spots.
Kruger National Park β Is one of Africaβs largest game reserves, its high density of wild animals includes the Big 5: lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. Hundreds of other mammals make their home there, as do diverse bird species such as vultures, eagles and storks. Mountains, bush plains and tropical forests are all part of the landscape.
